Thursday Check-in Day:

Dinner on your own. Choose from Mexican food at the
Xcaret at the Mall, Chinese food at Golden Crown,
Carmie’s Sportsbar, burgers to steaks at T J Willies or
Steve Guliano’s favorite restaurant for seafood—the
Pioneer Mill on the Sandusky River. Note: The seafood
does not come from the river.


1:00 p.m. Guided tour of the National Machinery Company—the
only builder of large steel forming machinery in the United
States serving markets throughout the world.

5:30 p.m. A rib dinner catered by Grandma’s Backyard BBQ. Our
own Ray Taylor will be providing the corn on the cob for
our enjoyment. The dinner will be followed by
entertainment provided by Ralph Keiffer. Note Ralph’s
humor is not normally appropriate for young grandchildren.


8:00 a.m. Coffee and Donuts

10:30 a.m. A guided tour of the home of Rutherford B. Hayes at the Presidential Center at Spiegel Grove at Fremont, OH
(cost $6.50). Those who wish may choose to visit the
museum on the grounds after the home tour. The museum
has a special exhibit of the artifacts from the Civil War
Prison which was on Johnson’s Island in Lake Erie.

5:30 p.m. Pot luck dinner or ???????????


8:00 a.m. Coffee and Donuts
